| Introduction : | Dr. Toru Yamada is a professor of Astronomical Institute, Tohoku University. He completed his Ph.D. in Astrophysical Sciences at Department of Astronomy, Faculty of Science, Kyoto University in 1994. He is the Vice Chair of Astronomical Society of Japan since 2012.
